The EUREKA cluster Celtic-Plus is organising its 7th  official Celtic Event and Celtic-Plus Proposer's Day on 22 and 23 February 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden. The Event will be attended by around 200 experts and decision makers are expected to attend the sessions. The focus will be on the new challenges for the telecommunications world and the competitiveness of Europe's telecommunications industry towards a Smart Connected World.

Proposers' Day 22 February (9:00 to 12:00)

The Celtic-Plus Proposers' Day provides a platform to present potential project ideas and to discuss them with other experts in order to build a strong project consortium. Participation only of the proposers' day (morning session) is free of charge. For registration and indication of a possible project idea please follow this link.

Registration deadline for the proposers' day is 22 February 2012 . The number of participants is limited to 100.

Celtic-Plus Event (22 and 23 February)

Discuss new research projects and build new project teams on:

  • New service challenges
  • Get connected (telecommunications infrastructure challenges)
  • Digital City
  • Digital Home
  • E-Health
  • Multi-disciplinary topics, High-level views on future challenges from industry perspective
  • Future Internet, how the program impact should be extended
  • Green-ICT, CleanTech, Smart Grids
  • Inter-disciplinary challenges for a better, cleaner, energy-efficient world

Exhibition : In parallel to the Event a Celtic project exhibition will be organised by Celtic project teams demonstrating their achievements, demos or prototypes and discuss their results with interested experts.

The participation of the proposers day is free of charge (a fee will be required if you also want to attend the Celtic Event on 23rd February).

Luxinnovation, the National Agency for Innovation and Research, acts as National EUREKA Coordination Secretariat on behalf of the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade, for free assistance with these procedures. Luxinnovation can help you to include the project in the EUREKA network, to find technical and commercial partners, to take note of other project ideas and to prepare the application for financial support.
